A Kia showroom caught fire in Rahim Yar Khan city damaging several vehicles while causing major losses to Kia Pakistan. According to initial information, the cause of fire is said to be short circuit.
As per sources, around 23 cars parked in Kia United Motors were completely destroyed due to fire whereas the company has reportedly sustained around losses of approx Rs. 220 million in inventory and property damages. Thankfully the staff was able to timely escape while the rescue team arrived at the scene & took couple of hours to extinguish the fire.

Kia Pakistan is yet to offer an official statement to address the concerns of affected buyers. The company had recently resumed the bookings for all its vehicles following the government’s decision to ease import restrictions.
