Currently, only the 09 is priced at VND2.199 billion (RM420,175) including VAT. Customers can make a reservation and pay a deposit now to have their car delivered in the first quarter of 2024. Official prices for the 01 and 05 will be revealed at a later time.

The 09 is Lynk & Co.’s flagship SUV and is built on the same Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) as the second-generation Volvo XC90. The SUV measures  5,042 mm in length, 1,977 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height with a 2,984 mm wheelbase.

For Vietnam, the Lynk & Co. 09 features a 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder petrol engine with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that serves up 215 hp (160 kW) of power and 325 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive is standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission giving 09 the ability to reach a top speed of 215 km/h. The up-spec variant gets a similar setup but with higher power outputs of 251 hp (187 kW) and 349 Nm for a top speed of 230 km/h.

Given that the company’s vehicles are currently left-hand drive, Lynk & Co’s pick of Vietnam as its debut Southeast Asian market makes sense. The company also stated in a press release that its next destination in the region will be the Philippines (another LHD country). However, its parent company, Geely, has previously stated an interest in using Proton’s Tanjung Malim facility in Malaysia as a production hub to build Lynk & Co models for right-hand drive markets.
