‘Made in Bangladesh’ Hyundai Cars to Hit the Roads in 2023

Hyundai in Bangladesh with its local partner Fair Technology has recently established a manufacturing plant at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park, Kaliakoir, Gazipur. According to Fair, ‘Made in Bangladesh’ Hyundai passenger vehicles will hit the road early next year.

The company also unveiled the new 2023 Hyundai Creta SUV in the Bangladesh market. The Creta has a 1.5L gasoline engine with CVT and boasts 17-inch diamond alloy rims, a panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment cluster & advance safety systems as its salient features.

At the unveiling ceremony, Fair announced that it will produce other Hyundai sedans, MPVs and SUVs at its manufacturing plant in Gazipur. Along with these passenger vehicles, customers will get original spare parts and after-sales facilities. Fair Group Head of Communication and Corporate Philanthropy Hasnain Khurshed, Head of Marketing J M Taslim Kabir and senior officials of Fair Technology including Head of Sales Abu Naser were also present on the occasion.

2023 Hyundai Creta unveiled in Bangaldesh

The plant has been set up on 6 acres of land at Kaliakair, Gazipur in line with the policy of the Government of Bangladesh, which will help increase localization, create employment, and increase the number of skilled workers in the country. According to the Managing Director of Fair Technology Mr. Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub:
