Maruti Launches 2020 Vitara Brezza Facelift Priced from INR 7.34 Lac

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2020 Vitara Brezza facelift in India with prices starting from INR 7.34 lac for the base LXi version to as high as INR 11.40 lac for the flagship ZXi+ AT variant.

The 2020 Vitara Brezza facelift features a host of exterior & interior improvements as well as an upgraded BS-VI engine. Prices of the Vitara Brezza facelift have dropped by INR 50,000 for the base variant. The mid-spec versions are roughly the same price while the top trims cost about INR 25,000 less.

Exterior revisions include a new radiator grille, LED headlamps with dual function LED DRLs, 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, revised bumpers with faux skid plate, bigger front fog lamp housing and LED tail lamps. Three new dual-tone exterior color options are available: Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof, Torque Blue with Midnight Black roof and Granite Grey with Autumn Orange roof. Inside there are new techno-effect accents, a new 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system that replaces the 7-inch SmartPlay unit and the leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The 2020 Vitara Brezza now comes with a BS-VI compliant 1.5L K15B petrol engine that replaces the old BS-IV 1.3L DDis diesel engine. The engine delivers 104hp of power and 138Nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission with Maruti’s Smart mild-hybrid system. The fuel efficiency of the manual version is rated at 17.03 km/l and AT (with smart hybrid) is 18.76 km/l.

Features include 2 airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, seatbelt reminders, engine immobilizer, speed sensing door locks, remote operated central locking, automatic climate control, reversing camera with rear parking sensors, push button start/ stop, headlight off and ignition key off reminder, multi-function steering wheel, 8-way adjustable driver & front passenger seats, power steering/ windows/ side mirrors, SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with voice command and cruise control etc.

Launched in 2016, the Vitara Brezza has given Maruti Suzuki a stronghold in the compact SUV segment in India having sold more than 500,000 units since it was first introduced hardly 4 years ago.
