Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG variant of the new Swift in India, with prices starting at INR 8.19 lac (ex-showroom). Deliveries of this latest version of the hatchback will commence on 12 October 2024.

Available in three variants- VXi, VXi(O), and ZXi the Swift CNG continues to get powered by a 1.2L three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 80 hp and 112Nm. In CNG mode, the output is reduced to 69 hp and 102Nm. Notably, it is claimed to deliver a mileage of 32.85km/kg, which is 6% more compared to the previous-gen Swift. The only transmission option available is a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Swift, currently the brand’s 14th CNG model, retains its existing design and features. Key highlights include LED fog lamps, LED projector headlights, LED taillights, 15-inch alloy wheels, a nine-inch touchscreen system, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
