MG Motors Pakistan has added another electric vehicle to its product portfolio by introducing the MG5 SW. The electric station wagon offered as CBU is priced at Rs 13,546,000. Booking can be made against Rs 5,000,000 with a tentative delivery time of around 3 months.

MG already offers the ZS EV and MG4 EV in Pakistan, both as CBU. The MG5 SW, which is the latest facelifted iteration, gets a 61.1kWh lithium-ion battery that works in tandem with a 130kW (175hp)/ 280 Nm motor powering the front wheels. The setup enables a driving range of 400 km and a top speed of 185 km/h.

The battery can be fully replenished in 6 hours but in fast charging mode, the same can be achieved in 56 minutes. The company is also offering an 8-year battery warranty, and a 5-year vehicle warranty, according to the dealerships.

The vehicle features MG Pilot driver assistance technology consisting of Adaptive cruise control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Intelligent speed limit assist, and high beam assist in addition to the usual array of safety kit including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD & BA, ESP, Hill Assist, engine immobilizer, electronic parking brake with auto hold and rain sensing wipers.
The MG5 SW is already on display at MG Center, MG Lounge, MG Capital, MG Khyber, and MG Lyallpur.
