All New Nissan Magnite Launched in India from INR 4.99 Lac

Nissan has launched the much awaited Magnite subcompact crossover SUV in India with prices starting from just INR 4.99 lac (PKR 10.77 lac) making it the most affordable vehicle in its class in Indian market. Available in 4 variants– XE, XL, XV and XV Premium the Nissan Magnite goes as high as INR 9.35 lac (PKR 20.19 lac) for the flagship XV Premium version. These introductory prices are valid till 31st December 2020.

Nissan Magnite launched in India

Up front, the impressive looking SUV gets a gaping mesh grille, slim LED headlamps and the L-shaped LED DRLs on the bumper that gets silver embellishments, fog lamp housings & skid plates on the lower section. The side profile features strong shoulder line, a floating roof appearance while generous body cladding all around & beautifully styled alloys enhances the rugged appearance of the SUV. The rear end gets horizontally stacked tail lamps, an embedded spoiler and a tough looking black/ silver rear bumper with license place holder, diffuser element & reflectors. There is rear windshield wiper, a spoiler with embedded brake lamp and short pole antenna to round up the exterior styling.

Inside the black/ silver color coded interior gets hexagonal air vents stacked in a series arrangement on top of the dashboard. There is 7-inch fully digital TFT color instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheel, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen below which there is climate control system and wireless charging.

Nissan Magnite is powered by two 1.0L petrol engines in India. There is a naturally aspirated 1.0-liter petrol unit producing 72hp & comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Plus there is a more powerful 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 95hp and comes mated to either 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox.

Features include LED bi-projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lamps, cruise control, 360-degree camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, steering-mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and much more. Safety set includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control, Traction Control System, seatbelt reminders, ISOFIX child seat anchors, engine immobilizer, central locking & keyless entry, speed sending door locks & rear parking sensors etc.

The all new Nissan Magnite will compete in a highly competitive segment against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet,  Tata Nexon, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, and the Ford EcoSport in the Indian market.
