Another expected difference between the version sold in China and other markets is the engine. China gets the Nissan Terra with the QR25 2.5 liter petrol engine that produces 135 kW (184 PS) and 251 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. In the Philippines and other markets, Nissan may offer the Nissan Navara’s YS23DDT 2.3 liter diesel engine, YS23DDTT 2.5L diesel engine and/or YD25DDTi 2.5L diesel engine.

Boomerang LED headlamps with LED DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, boomerang LED tail lights, electric sunroof, Zero Gravity front seats, 8-way electric adjustment for driver’s seat and dual-zone automatic climate control are among the key features of the Nissan Terra. The mid-size SUV is equipped with a number of advanced safety and driver assistance features as well, such as Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Intelligent Emergency Braking.

The Nissan Terra will compete against the Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Trailblazer, and Isuzu MU-X in the Philippines.
