Kia Sorento remained the best-selling vehicle in South Korea for the 7th consecutive month in April 2024, with 7,865 units sold. The Sportage took second place, with 7,179 units sold.
For the last four years running, the Kia Sorento has been the best-selling SUV in the Korean domestic market and is a highly sought-after vehicle. Kia also launched the 4th generation Sorento’s facelift in July last year which took the model’s sales in South Korea to new heights. It marked a noticeable upward trend, surpassing 7,000 units in August, and then over 10,000 units the very next month in September.
The updated Sorento again ranked first in domestic sales charts in October with 8,777 units, followed by 9,364 units in November, nearly 10,000 units in December, another 9,284 units in January 2024, and 8,671 units in February.
