The 2nd generation Peugeot 2008 which made its debut in June 2019 is set to receive a facelift. Photos have emerged on the internet of a disguised prototype being tested somewhere in Germany while concealing its updated front and rear fascias beneath the camo. The steel wheels and halogen turn signals indicate this is a lower-end trim of the subcompact crossover.
As per reports, the new Peugeot 2008 facelift will feature revised styling, with a different set of bumpers & grille, restyled headlamps, revised tail light assembly as well as some tweaks in the cabin. The treatment is likely going to be similar to that of the new Peugeot 508. The interior might also get an upgraded multimedia system.
Peugeot has already expanded its 2008 lineup with a new generation of PureTech gasoline engines with mild hybrid technology which are available in two tuned states (100 and 136 horsepower). The engine comes paired with a dual-clutch, 6-speed automatic gearbox, and an integrated electric motor with a 21-kilowatt output.

Under the hood, the Peugeot 2008 facelift will continue to be powered by 1.2L three-cylinder turbo engines. However its electric derivative the e2008 will get a larger battery pack that will render a positive impact on its drive range. The new Peugeot 2008 facelift will go on sale towards the end of the year, although official prices have yet to be disclosed.
