The Suzuki Swift 1.2L GL has won the Budget Car category in the Cars.co.za Consumer Awards in South Africa. This is the third year in a row that Suzuki has received this award, following on from the Celerio and Ignis.

Conceived to be South Africa’s definitive automotive awards program, CarsAwards has grown in stature, reach and influence since the inaugural event in 2016. Apart from being exclusively supported by WesBank, South Africa’s largest vehicle finance provider, CarsAwards is regarded as an energetic, impactful opening number on the automotive industry calendar.
The fourth generation Swift has already won the RJC Car of the Year Award in Japan, as well as the 2019 Car of the Year in India, while the Swift nameplate has so far won more than 64 international awards since its introduction as a global model. The latest South African award is just another addition to the list.
