Tata Motors has launched the Punch.ev in India with prices starting from INR 10.99 lac (ex-showroom). With this, the Indian automaker now has 4 all-electric models in its portfolio.

Punch.ev is available in five variants with two battery pack options– a 25kWh unit and a 35kWh unit. The batteries work in tandem with a single Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor mounted at the front axle. The 25kWh battery has an ARAI-certified drive range of 315 km while the 35kWh unit delivers up to 421 km.
The Punch.ev maintains an exterior design that is comparable to that of its ICE counterpart. Still, it takes certain styling influences from the Nexon EV, including as the aerodynamic alloy wheels, vertical slat grille with split LED headlamps, and a full-width LED light bar up front with a blanked-off grille. However, the Punch.ev’s charging flap is positioned at the front and has a motorized opening and closing mechanism, in contrast to the Nexon EV.

The Punch.ev is equipped with a greater number of features than the ICE variant. Large 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, twin-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, all-digital instrument cluster, and revamped HVAC panel with touch-capacitive buttons are all included. Additionally, it has amenities like a 360-degree surround camera, 6 airbags, an electronic parking brake, a jeweled gear selector dial, automated climate control, and a blind spot monitor.
