The GR Sport variant features a distinctly different front design, ensuring a clear distinction between it and the standard model. It also boasts a two-tone paint scheme, clear lens tail lamps with a ‘smoky’ effect, a rear bumper lower garnish, and GR/GR Sport emblems. Enhancing its sporty appeal, this variant includes a stiffer suspension, a performance chassis brace, and a dedicated ‘Sport ECU’ for the electric power steering.

Inside, the base ICE variant features a 4.2-inch color multi-information display (MID), while the hybrid variants are equipped with a larger 12.3-inch screen. This display offers three layout options and four visual themes (Casual, Smart, Tough, and Sporty) and includes real-time hybrid-specific data for an enhanced user experience.

In terms of trim, the 1.8V and HEV variants feature a black interior accented with dark brown highlights. The GR Sport, however, skips the brown and opts for black interiors with red stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, gearshift lever, and boot, as well as on the leather seats. GR branding is prominently displayed on the front headrests and the engine start/stop button. All variants come equipped with a powered tailgate, operable via a foot gesture under the rear bumper, the smart key, a dashboard switch, or the physical button on the car.

The hybrid variant features a nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) battery that powers two electric motors working in tandem with a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine (2ZR-FXE). The engine delivers 98 PS and 142 Nm of torque, while the hybrid system generates a combined output of 122 PS and 163 Nm. With the primary electric motor producing 72 PS, immediate torque is available from a standstill, ensuring responsive acceleration. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an E-CVT gearbox specifically designed for hybrid systems.

Additionally, it includes a vehicle telematics system with a complimentary three-year subscription and comes with solar and security window film as standard.
