Indus Motor Company (IMC) has once again increased the prices of CKD assembled Toyota cars in Pakistan, this time by up to Rs 580,000. It is for the third time within the last 4 months that the prices of Toyota cars have been revised.
According to the company, the sudden devaluation of Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar has made it extremely difficult for the company to keep on with the current prices. The new prices will be effective on all new orders booked on or after 30th April 2022.

Talking about the revisions, the price of Toyota Yaris has been revised by up to Rs 160,000, Corolla has witnessed a price increase of up to Rs 210,000, IMV Hilux Revo by up to Rs 410,000 and Fortuner by up to Rs 580,000. With this, the top-spec Yaris Ativ X now cost PKR 36.59 lac, Corolla Altis X Grande now cost PKR 48.99 lac, Hilux Revo Rocco now comes for PKR 97.29 lac whereas Fortuner Legender is now available for PKR 1 Crore 26.79 lac. All mentioned prices are ex-factory (Karachi), purchase price in other cities will vary depending on freight.
Meanwhile IMC’s net profit surged by 41.6% to Rs 5.1 billion in the third-quarter ended March 31, 2022 due to multiple upward revision in car prices and surge in other income. The company had booked a profit of Rs 3.6 billion in the same quarter of previous year, according to a notice the company recently sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange.
