Voyah, a high-end NEV brand under Dongfeng currently has three electric vehicles in its lineup: Free SUV, Dreamer luxury MPV, and Passion (Zhuiguang) sedan. Voyah is a global brand that also sells its vehicles in Europe.
Now the automaker has launched the PHEV variant of its Passion sedan at the ongoing 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. Voyah Passion PHEV is quite a large sedan measuring 5,088/1,970/1,515 mm and having a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. For reference, it is 152 mm longer, 102 mm wider, and 49 mm higher than the BMW 5 Series.
The exterior styling of the Voyah Passion PHEV includes a huge grille with silver elements and a sporty front bumper with visible air intakes. This is in contrast to the electric variant which gets a closed fascia. A thin LED light strip goes through the grill to join both the headlights with the centered logo.

Inside, the Voyah Passion PHEV has a 55-inch long cluster consisting of three screens, each having a diameter of 12.3 inches. Moreover, the Passion also has an additional 9-inch touchscreen dedicated to climate control and seat settings. It can also be equipped with an optional package with AR-HUD, Face ID, a heated steering wheel, four-zone climate control, and another screen for second-row passengers.
Voyah Passion PHEV adopts an air suspension with a CDC active damping control system. The powertrain comprises a 1.5L turbocharged ICE good for 136 hp that works in tandem with two electric motors. The one in the front generates 177 hp while the rear one outputs 218 hp. The combined power output of this sedan reaches 530 hp and 810 Nm.
With a 25.6-kWh ternary (NMC) battery, the Passion PHEV can run up to 262 km in electric mode, whereas the comprehensive driving range reaches 1,260 km.

The Voyah Passion PHEV is available for order in China with a starting price of 266,900 yuan ($36,870). Customers who book this vehicle can also get a free luxury package that costs 25,000 yuan ($3,450).
