There is some rapid development going on in the automobile sector of Pakistan in recent times. With the new automobile policy announced & the benefits of CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor), the Chinese companies are likely to take the maximum advantage of the scenario.

The latest development is the conclusion of technical & franchise agreements for the assembly of Chinese heavy duty truck brand “Shacman” by Afzal Motors, who are the distributor & manufacturers of a number of commercial vehicle brands including Daewoo, JAC and KING LONG in Pakistan.
Afzal Motors with over 30 years of experience in distribution and marketing of commercial vehicle stepped forward in 2005 and set up an assembly project for Daewoo trucks and Daewoo buses in Pakistan. In few years time JAC and KING LONG brands were included to cater a wider range of customers in addition to adding more models of Daewoo Trucks and Buses. Their plant with the capacity to produce 6000 commercial vehicles on single shift annually is the biggest truck/bus assembling facility in the country.
