The 2018 Honda Jazz facelift has been launched in India, with prices starting from INR 7.35 lac. The Jazz facelift comes with minor exterior changes, new convenience features and enhanced safety equipments.

The Honda Jazz facelift retains the original third generation design but the LED tail lights gets extended further on to the tailgates. Honda also added chrome door handles and two new colors to its palette, and that’s pretty much about it.
It is worth mentioning here that the Jazz facelift for India isn’t the same as the one on sale in several international markets. While the international-spec Jazz facelift gets a set of aggressive bumpers that increase the length of the car to 4.1-meters, the Indian version misses out on this update. Sticking to the sub-4-meter overall length allows Jazz to continue benefiting from a lower tax as per Indian regulations.

The 2018 Honda Jazz comes with an array of new comfort and convenience features, including keyless entry, engine start-stop button, 7-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, front center armrest, central lock hand switch and driver-side vanity mirror.
Rear parking sensors and speed sensing auto door lock features have made the Honda Jazz safer now. Honda says that it has made improvements in NVH (noise, vibrations & harshness) levels too.

The new Honda Jazz comes in S, V and VX grades. Also, the S grade is exclusive to the diesel engine model. The engines and transmissions options have remained unchanged. The petrol engine is a 1.2-liter i-VTEC engine producing 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The diesel engine is the 1.5-liter i-DTEC units which develops 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission.
