The 2018 Hyundai i20 facelift has made its world debut at Auto Expo 2018. The facelift has received a number of visual changes featuring a cascading front grille, remodelled bumpers, reshaped fog lamps, front air curtains, new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, bigger tail lamps with new graphics and redesigned tailgate and repositioned rear license plate.
In addition, new exterior colors have been introduced and both colors are available in a dual-tone scheme as well. Inside, the centre console gets minor updates in the form of a tweaked layout for the AVN controls and reprofiled AC vents.
Hyundai has also added a rear seat armrest with cup holder and offers a sliding type armrest at the front as an option now. The infotainment system has also been upgraded to function with lesser number of buttons and support the Auto Link mobile app, which helps the car owner keep a check on the vehicle health, monitor driving pattern, manage parking, get road side assistance and book a service request.

For the facelift, Hyundai has dropped the old 1.4-litre petrol engine and the 4-speed automatic transmission replacing it with the 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. While a 1.4-litre diesel engine coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission is also available. A CVT transmission options is also said to be in pipeline. The Hyundai i20 facelift is priced from INR 5.34 lac (equivalent PKR 9.16 lac).
