With the 2018 FIFA World Cup getting closer, Chinese premium SUV brand WEY, has signed Cristiano Ronaldo as their brand ambassador in an official ceremony held in Madrid today.

WEY, one of the leading and most recognized brands in the industry is currently redefining its brand positioning of “Made in China” to become a global symbol of China. WEY is a premium vehicle division of Great Wall Motors, one of the largest automakers in China. Introduced in April 2017, WEY focuses on high-end SUVs and new energy vehicles.
VV7, with Cristiano’s 7
Among the models that WEY has in the market, highlights the VV7 , a crossover that has a level of finishing and equipment that places it in the premium segment, with outstanding technological systems of safety and driving aid. It has a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, that develops a staggering 235 horsepower.
This model, with the number 7 in its nomenclature, was present at the signing of the agreement between the car firm and the Portuguese footballer of Real Madrid. Bear in mind Cristiano Ronaldo also plays with number 7 on his shirt. At the event, Cristiano Ronaldo said:
