Kia is all set to launch its new entry level Soluto sedan in Philippines, marking its entry in the Southeast Asian region. The Soluto is based on the China-spec Kia Pegas, which shares its platform with the Hyundai Reina, another China-made subcompact that has recently made its debut in Philippines market.
Like its sibling Reina, the Kia Soluto is powered by a 1.4-liter petrol engine that churns out 95hp of power and 132Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. In terms of dimensions, the Soluto measures 4,300mm in length, has a 2,570mm long wheelbase and 475 liters of luggage space.
As for the features, the top-spec Soluto gets leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering and gear lever, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice commands, rear parking sensors, a parking camera with guidelines and a digital MID. Safety features on offer includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD, child seat anchors and rear door child locks.

Kia is offering a massive 5 year/160,000 km general warranty with the Soluto, which will rival the likes of Toyota Vios and Honda City in the Philippines market.
