The Datsun redi-GO hatchback has been updated with standard safety features to comply with the new stringent safety requirements in India. The redi-GO now comes with driver airbag, high-speed warning, rear-parking sensors and seat belt reminder as standard across the range. The redi-GO was also recently updated with ABS and EBD.

The Datsun redi-GO is available with two petrol engines. The 800cc unit makes 53 hp and 72 Nm, while the 1000cc engine produces 67 hp and 91Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the 1000cc version gets an optional AMT.

The 2019 redi-GO range with updated safety features is priced from INR 2.79 lac for the base 800cc variant and goes all the way up to INR 4.37 lac for the top-end 1000cc AMT model.
