MG (Morris Garages) the British automotive marque now under the influence of SAIC (Shanghai Auto Industry Corporation) of China is all set to introduce its range of SUVs in Pakistan. The premium SUVs to be launched are MG HS, ZS and ZS EV.

The company is opening display centers in various cities including Karachi, Lahore where the vehicles will be put up on display on the 14th, 15th & 16th of November. Deliveries of the first batch of vehicles will commence in Q1, 2021.
The exact specifications have not been released yet however as per unofficial sources the HS and ZS will come equipped with two engine options– a 1.5L turbocharged unit producing 160hp & a larger 2.0L turbo with 230hp mated to 6-MT or 7-DCT gearbox options. The ZS EV will get a 45kW battery pack with 140hp/ 351Nm and will help the SUV to do up to 260km in a single charge.
The MG SUVs will be offering premium quality & will come rich in features & equipment. There will be multi-function flat-bottomed steering wheel, digital meter cluster, push button engine start/ stop system, multimedia system with reversing camera, digital climate control, electric parking brakes, puddle lamps, multiple interior color options, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, 17” wheels & much more.

Official prices are yet to be disclosed by the company however as per reports, the HS & ZS will be priced around PKR 4 million to PKR 5.5 million, whereas the ZS-EV will be priced above PKR 6.0 million. All SUVs will be offered here as CBU import.
