Porsche has announced that it has recorded the best-ever sales in 2022 in the Indian market. The German premium brand registered a 64% sales growth over the previous year, with Indian buyers showing strong interest in its SUV and sports cars.
In total, Porsche sold 779 units in the calendar year 2022 compared with 474 units sold during the previous year, which was at the time Porsche India’s best result since 2014.
According to Manolito Vujicic, the Brand Director of Porsche India, these strong result shows the upward trajectory that started in 2021 and was maintained through 2022.

Porsche in India also moved towards electrification with the launch of the all-new electric Taycan in December 2021. So far nearly 80 units of Taycan were delivered during its first 12 months in India.
