But the sorry state of affairs for the company continues with absolutely dismal sales for its key sellers. Sales of Bolan and Wagon R crashed further with 135 and 320 units in January 2024, which shows a deplorable 59% and 22% decline from the numbers (326 & 409 units, respectively) in December 2023. Sales of Cultus dipped by 8% as well coming down to 273 units from 297 units sold in the previous month.
Alto once again emerged as the bestselling car, not only for Pak Suzuki but for the overall market. With 2,983 units in January 2024, the Alto saw a 42% surge in sales from 2,099 units sold in December 2023. In terms of improvement, Swift outpaced Alto with a 46% surge witnessing 552 units sold in January compared to 378 units sold in the previous month.
Sales of Ravi also improved by 27% in January with 287 units compared to 226 units sold a month earlier. Overall, January 2024 appears to be a better start to the year for Pak Suzuki, which, by comparison, shows a 54% rise in sales figures over January 2023, when Suzuki sold just 2,946 units.
