The BMW 1-Series sedan which was earlier sneaked in September 2016, has been spotted arriving at the Guangzhou Auto Show exhibition hall ahead of its debut. The show will officially open its doors from the 18th of November.

The BMW 1 Series Sedan will launch in three variants: 118i, 120i and 125i. The base 118i will be powered by a 136 hp 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, while the remaining two models will have a 2.0 liter TwinPower engine called as 120i with 192 hp, and 125i with 231 hp.
The 1 Series sedan measures 4,456 mm in length, 1,803 mm in width and 1,446 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. Riding on the new UKL platform, the 1-series sedan is BMW’s first front-wheel driven sedan which is developed by Brilliance-BMW joint venture in China.

The 1-sedan will be launched in Chinese car market in the first quarter of 2017. Whether the front-wheel driven BMW will be launched in other countries is yet to be known.
