BYD together with its local partner Sime Darby Motors has celebrated delivering 1,000 units of Atto 3 EV in Malaysia. The feat comes within 100 days of the formal launch of the vehicle in the Malaysian market. Launched in December 2022, the company earlier celebrated the first 100 units within just 10 days of launch.
In order to provide a comparison with other EVs currently on the market in Malaysia, the BMW iX recently celebrated completing 1,000 deliveries in the country in January 2023, however, it took 17 months to do so as the car was introduced back in August 2021. BYD Atto 3 accomplishing the same feat in just 100 days is simply amazing.

It significantly undercuts the Hyundai Kona Electric while providing better capacity and performance than a vehicle with comparable pricing, the Ora Good Cat which comes from GWM (Great Wall Motors) of China.
