Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is currently on his three-nation Gulf tour where has has already visited Saudi Arabia and Qatar and will visit UAE soon. On his tour, Erdogan gifted Turkey’s first domestically produced automobile, the Togg T10X electric SUV to Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) as well as the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The video which was shared on social media shows Prince MBS himself driving a white-colored example of the Togg T10X SUV. Erdogan’s visit to Saudi Arabia has witnessed the two countries signing a number of deals including Saudia to import Turkey’s medium-altitude long-endurance Akinci drone marking one of the biggest defense and aviation export contracts in the history of the Republic of Turkiye.
Later on his trip to Qatar, the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was seen behind the wheels of a black-colored T10X accompanied by Erdogan himself.
On the last leg of his tour, Erdogan gifted the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a white-colored Togg T10X EV. The two leaders later took the electric SUV for a spin.
The Togg T10X is initially sold with a single electric motor and two battery options. The model features a driving range of 314 or 523 kilometers, depending on the battery size. The first version of the T10X is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, while the second, for which delivery will start in October, can do 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The second version (dual motor) also sports an all-wheel drive, featuring 320 kW power (435 hp).

Branding itself as a technology company that integrates digital and physical experiences, Togg has teamed up with various startups to establish a new mobility ecosystem. Besides the SUV, Togg will manufacture another 4 models – a C-segment sedan, C-hatchback, B-SUV, and B-MPV – through the year 2030. The sedan will be the second model to be mass-produced after the T10X SUV.
Togg aims to produce 1 million vehicles across the five segments by 2030. Turkey also aims to export the Togg T10X electric SUV to various European markets from 2024 onward.
