The Xpander measures 4,475 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width and 1,700 mm in height. It has a 2,775 mm wheelbase and a 200 mm/205 mm ground clearance. Folding both the second- and third-row seats of the three-row MPV gives a maximum cargo capacity of 1,630 liters.

Like in Indonesia, the Mitsubishi Xpander is available with a 1.5 liter 4A91 MIVEC petrol engine in the Philippines. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic as the transmission choices.
