The 4th generation Swift is all set to launch by Maruti in India next week. The formal launch was scheduled for 7th of February however according to recent reports it will now be held on 9th February.
The 2018 Swift features an evolutionary design and is underpinned by the new Heartect platform which is lighter, safer & fuel efficient. It will be available with 1.2-litre VVT petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS 190 diesel engine options. The naturally aspirated petrol engine is tuned to deliver 84.3 PS and 113 Nm of torque. The turbocharged diesel engine produces 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. Transmission options will be 5-speed manual & 5-speed automatic.

The 2018 Swift features LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, electrically powered mirrors, 15-inch precision-cut alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. Inside, the 4th gen Swift is equipped with features likes automatic climate control, engine start/stop button, leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel and Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual-front airbags and ABS with EBD and BA are standard, while reverse parking sensors and reverse parking camera are available.
