The X8 SUV showcases a bold and rather squarish design language. There is a large grille up front with dashed horizontal slats. There are slim LED headlamps that are connected to each other with a slim slatted grille having HANTENG lettering on it. Both the grilles are separated by a chrome strip having the red stallion logo in the center. There are vertically oriented slim LED DRLs on either side of the front bumper.
Towards the back, the X8 adopts penetrating taillight group design, embellished with an L-shaped lamp strip at the edges on either side. The tail lights are connected to each other with a seamless LED light. The rear fog lights and the reversing lights are placed on both sides of the bumper embodied in a vertical shape, which widens the lateral view of the SUV.
The interior is rich with premium beige-brown color combination. The large screen extends from the instrument panel all the way to the center console. There is a large chunky flat-bottomed multi-function steering for the driver, while the button operated switches are located near the gear panel.
The Hanteng X8 SUV will likely hit the Chinese market by third quarter of this year. There is no word on the powertrain yet, but details are expected to be available soon.
