After having increased the prices of its cars on the 21st of June, Honda Atlas has again revised the prices of its cars within the span of just 2 weeks. The company’s opinion regarding this price revision is the implementation of FED by the government and negative forex impact. The new prices are applicable from the 1st of July 2019.
Government in its latest financial budget for year 2019-20 has imposed 2.5% FED on vehicles up to 1000cc engine capacity, 5% FED on vehicles with 1001 to 2000cc engine capacity and 7.5% FED on cars above 2001cc engine displacement.
This has resulted in the increase of prices of 1.3 and 1.5 liter Honda City, 1.5 liter BR-V and 1.5 liter Civic variants. However prices of 1.8 liter Civic variants have seen a decrease.
