Honda released the first official look at the design of its next crossover, the Honda WR-V. The cross variant of the Honda Jazz will make its world premiere at the 29th edition of the São Paulo International Motor Show (Brazil), which will take place between 10th and 20th November.
The smallest crossover in the Honda family, the Honda WR-V is the work of the Research and Development team at Honda Cars in Brazil. The small utility vehicle intends to increase the participation of Honda in the crossover market of South America.

Based on the Honda Jazz platform, the WR-V gets new front and rear fascias with the symbolic “Solid Wing Face” that has a chrome grille cutting into the headlamps. The design sketch gives away the fact that the WR-V will get aggressive bonnet, headlamp, bumpers with skid plate, but will keep the Jazz’s door skin with added roof rails and side body cladding. Spy-shots show that the car has been raised higher off the ground, and hoisted on exclusive alloy wheels.
The Honda WR-V will be the successor to the Honda Fit Twist variant in South America, but will be a new variant elsewhere. The mechanical carriage of the Jazz, with the 1.5L Flex-fuel engine and five-speed manual or automatic CVT, will be packed into the WR-V.
