Since the event got cancelled, Hyundai decided to unveil their newest hatchback in a walkaround video which you can find on Hyundai’s official European Youtube channel. With the latest redesign making use of Hyundai’s latest “Sensuous Sportiness” design language, which is already embodied on the latest Sonata & Elantra sedans, the new i20 hatchback looks even sportier than before.
There is a massive mesh grille upfront, integrated with the sweptback headlights & arrow-shaped LED DRLs. The low-set nose and the steeply-rising beltline gives the new i20 a wedge-like side profile, accented by the sweeping chrome window trim and blacked-out D-pillars to render a “floating roof” look.
