Hyundai-Nishat has formally launched the new Santa Fe hybrid in Pakistan. The company touts the new Santa Fe as the first 7-seat hybrid SUV in Pakistan as well as the first hybrid SUV with AWD.
The Santa Fe hybrid is available in two variants, Smart and Signature, both powered by the same engine. There is a 1.5L engine good for producing 177 hp and 265 Nm in tandem with a hybrid motor that allows the vehicle to churn out a combined output of 227 hp and 350 Nm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, however, the Santa Fe Signature variant offers different drive modes, including Multi-Terrain Mode, (Snow, Mud, Sand) and an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) mode. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Santa Fe Smart comes in Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) only.
Exterior highlights include 19-inch Alloy Wheels, Power Tailgate (Signature Only), Safe exit, MFR LED Headlamps (Smart), Dual LED Projection Headlamps (Signature Only), LED DRLs, Panoramic Sunroof, LED rear lights, Keyless and Smart entry, Front Camera, Roof rails, Chromic handles & grille, Shark-fin antenna and a high-mounted rear brake lamp.
The interior features Welcome Lights, Multi-function steering, 8-inch Infotainment System, 12.3-inch TFT LCD info + Rheostat, Wireless Charger, Harmon Kardon Signature Speakers, Heated & Ventilated Seats, 2nd and 3rd Row AC vents, Reclining 2nd Row Seats, Drive Modes (Smart, Eco, Sport) – (Signature Only), Terrain Selection (Signature Only), 14-way Powered Adjustable Driver Seat (Signature), 4-way Adjustable Rear Seats (Signature), 10-way Powered Adjustable Front Passenger Seat (Signature), 2-way Adjustable Rear Seats (Smart), Integrated Memory Seats, and Dual Zone Climate Control.

The Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid Smart variant in Pakistan is priced at Rs. 12,990,000, while the flagship Signature variant is available for Rs. 14,699,000. The mention of “introductory price” suggests that the prices may go up soon. However, the company will deliver the first 150 units on a priority basis. The vehicle is backed by a 4-year/ 100,000km warranty (whichever comes first).
