The Sonata comes equipped with a Smartstream 2.5 liter MPI engine that produces 176hp of power and 232Nm of torque, and comes paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The company has already introduced Santa Fe SUV, Grand Starex van and Ioniq hybrid alongside the local assembled Porter H-100 commercial pickup in Pakistan.
The company has remained focused on introducing premium priced offerings ever since it made its comeback in our country. We are yet to see the likes of mass market options from Hyundai such as the i10 or i20 hatchbacks or the Verna subcompact sedan.
