Hyundai-Nishat has given a massive push to the price of Tucson crossover in Pakistan. This is the third time during the calendar year 2022 that the price of Hyundai Tucson has been revised, though the latest price increased is the biggest one observed yet.

Effective immediately, the price of Hyundai Tucson has been revised by Rs 1,042,010 for the GLS Sport FWD variant and Rs 1,037,010 for the flagship Ultimate AWD variant. With this, the Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan is now priced as:
- Tucson GLS Sport FWD: Rs 6,899,000
- Tucson Ultimate AWD: Rs 7,399,000
Tucson happens to be the bestselling product in Hyundai-Nishat’s local portfolio. In FY2021-22 the company sold 4,895 units of Tucson, which in comparison is 36% more than the sales of Elantra (3,610 units) and 76% more than that of Sonata (2,782 units).

The company is yet to announce price revisions for its other models including the Elantra and Sonata sedans, however its highly likely that the increased prices will be announced soon. Hyundai-Nishat has also recently hiked the freight charges for its destinations across the country in wake of insanely rising fuel costs. Following this, other assemblers are also expected to announce the price revisions soon.
