Lucky Motor Company (LMC) the assemblers of Kia cars in Pakistan has announced an increase in the prices of its CKD locally assembled as well as CBU imported products.
According to company notification, due to the depreciation of PKR against the US Dollar, it has become inevitable for the company to pass the impact on to the customers. The revised prices will be effective from the 31st of January 2023.
Kia Picanto New Prices
- Picanto Manual: With an increase of Rs 100,000 the Kia Picanto MT is now available for PKR 32.0 lac.
- Picanto Automatic: With an increase of Rs 200,000, the price of Kia Picanto AT is now PKR 34.0 lac.
Kia Stonic New Prices
- Stonic EX: The price of base Kia Stonic EX with an increase of Rs 255,000 is now PKR 48.0 lac.
- Stonic EX+: The top-spec Kia Stonic EX+ with an increase of Rs 402,000 is now available for PKR 52.50 lac.
Kia Sportage New Prices
- Alpha: The base Kia Sportage Alpha variant has witnessed an increase of Rs 250,000 after which it is available for PKR 65.0 lac.
- FWD: The Sportage FWD has also seen an increase of Rs 250,000 which now makes it available for PKR 70.0 lac.
- AWD: The flagship Sportage AWD receives a price bump of Rs 400,000 after which it comes available for PKR 76.50 lac.
Kia Sorento New Prices
- 2.4L FWD: With an increase of Rs 600,000 the Sorento 2.4L FWD is now available for PKR 84.0 lac.
- 2.4L AWD: With an increase of Rs 600,000 the Sorento 2.4L AWD is now available for PKR 91.0 lac.
- 3.5L V6 FWD: With an increase of Rs 600,000 the Sorento 3.5L V6 FWD is now available for PKR 91.0 lac.
Kia Carnival New Prices
- Carnival GLS Exec: The price of CBU-imported Carnival GLS+ has seen an increase of Rs 1,301,000 which now makes it available for Rs 1.5 crore.
Although LMC had introduced a price-lock offer on all its cars which was valid till the 31st of January, the company abruptly stopped taking bookings before that deadline owing to the volatility of US Dollar against the Pakistani Rupee.
