Kia launched the 4th gen Sorento back in 2020, and after 3 years a facelift is expected to hit the markets soon. Although camouflaged test mules have been spotted multiple times already, and many artists have come up with speculative renderings as well, however as we get close to the formal unveiling more details are now becoming available regarding the 2023 Sorento facelift.
According to the latest information, the updated Sorento will be the first model to follow Kia EV9’s design language. As seen in the latest spy pictures caught by Autopost, the Sorento facelift can be seen testing with similar vertical headlights as the EV9. In some of the photos, we can also see the new light signatures.

There will also be a new redesigned front bumper & grille to match the looks of the EV9. Towards the back, the rear lights will be pretty much carried over but with refreshed graphics and a possible LED connecting bar to render a full-width tail light effect.
The interior will probably get updated with a new screen and the latest versions of the infotainment systems. Also expect the latest levels of safety gizmos, new upholstery, and a new steering wheel. Power will likely come from the same set of engines, but fine-tuned for better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The latest iteration is expected to make its appearance in the production guise somewhere during the first quarter of 2023.
In Pakistan, we still get the globally obsolete 3rd generation Sorento which was launched here in February 2021, a year after the current generation model made its world debut. The 3rd gen Sorento is the slowest-selling model in Kia’s local lineup here and is priced between Rs 7.8 million and Rs 8.5 million.
