Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Invicto luxury MPV in India, with prices starting at INR 24.79 lac (ex-showroom). Bookings for the model began last month for Rs 25,000, with delivery set to begin soon. Originally, the Invicto was supposed to be called the “Engage”, however later the company decided to call it “Invicto.”
Based on the new Toyota Innova Hycross, the Suzuki Invicto MPV is available in two variants: Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus, with the Zeta Plus also having an 8-seater configuration option.
On the outside the Suzuki Invicto differs itself from the donor Toyota Innova Hycross with reworked front and rear bumpers, a new grille with two chrome slats, horizontally oriented LED DRLs, tweaked LED headlights and tail lights, and new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Interior highlights of the 2023 Invicto MPV include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, captain seats for the second row, and a powered tailgate. Copper inserts on the center console and door pads, automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and vented and powered front seats are all included. In terms of safety, the Invicto MPV comes standard with front and rear parking sensors, an automatic parking brake, a 360-degree camera, and 6 airbags.
The Maruti Invicto is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine that produces 172hp of power and 188Nm of torque. A hybrid motor with an additional power of 11hp and 206Nm of torque is also available. Across the board, an e-CVT gearbox is standard. Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 24.3km/l for the Invicto.
