Following the limited edition versions of the Baleno, Swift and the Ignis, Maruti has launched the Wagon R Limited Edition to attract new car buyers during the festive season in India.

The Maruti Wagon R Limited Edition comes as an accessory pack that comprises a range of new features, including a Pioneer double-DIN Bluetooth-enabled music system, reverse parking sensors, seat covers with cushion set, body decals, rear spoiler and an interior styling kit.
These features come as a dealer-level fitments, available in two accessories kits, which cost INR 15,490 and INR 25,490, respectively. The Maruti Wagon R in India is priced between INR 4.14 lac to INR 5.35 lac which converts into PKR 6.9 lac and PKR 8.9 lac respectively.

Mechanically the limited edition Wagon R remains unchanged. It gets powered by a 1.0-liter petrol engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 68 PS at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 90 Nm at 3,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual as well as an AMT gearbox. Fuel economy is rated at 20.51 km per liter.
With an average monthly sales of more than 14,000 units a month, the Wagon R has been the best-selling model in its segment in India. The launch of the Maruti Wagon R Limited Edition accessory pack is expected to help maintain sales during the festive period.
