The Chinese car market is huge with an endless array of automobiles offered by not less than 350 carmakers including domestic as well as international players. There are plenty of examples where certain cars are exclusively available for sale in China only and nowhere else. And the latest addition to this list is the Hyundai Mufasa.
Mufasa, which appears to have been modeled on the latest Kia Sportage sports a big black grille up front and extra-wide wheel arches. The vehicle in the pictures has its window frame, pillars, and side mirrors as well as alloy wheels in black.
The rear gets full-width rounded rectangle-shaped LED lights with Hyundai lettering written in between. There is a busy bumper with diffuser-like elements, an embedded rear spoiler, and plenty of reflectors at the back. Interior images are unavailable as of yet.
Hyundai Mufasa which is a 5-seat SUV measures 4,475/1,850/1,665 mm with a 2,680 mm wheelbase. Power will come from a naturally aspirated 2.0L petrol engine with an output of 160 hp. For now, Hyundai has no plans for hybrid or electric versions of Mufasa.
