Pak Suzuki has just introduced a new variant to the Alto 660cc lineup in Pakistan. The VXR version of Alto is now available with AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission.

The Alto VXR was previously available with 5-speed manual transmission only, while the AGS was restricted to the top-spec VXL version only. The new VXR AGS is priced Rs 144,000 higher than its manual counterpart. While the VXR MT is currently priced at PKR 19.76 lac, the new Alto VXR AGS is available for PKR 21.20 lac. It is Rs 103,000 cheaper than the top-spec Alto VXL AGS which is priced at PKR 22.23 lac.
Compared to the VXL, the Alto’s VXR trim misses out ABS (Anti-lock Brakes), power windows, power side mirrors and colored door handles. However thankfully, the new VXR AGS will come equipped with ABS which remains missing in the manual version.
