So another day and another addition to the cars displayed by Pak Suzuki at the ongoing Pakistani Auto and Parts Show (PAPS 2022) in Lahore. The company had already showcased XL7, WagonR Stingray and Every minivan on the first day.

The Eritga is a 5+2 seat MPV by Suzuki which is popular in regional markets. It gets powered by 1.5L naturally aspirated engine good for 105hp and 138Nm and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Though automatic variant is also available in other markets.

Hustler on the other hand is a familiar vehicle to us, thanks to used JDM imports with many examples already running on our roads. It has a 660cc engine under its hood which produces 49hp of power and 58Nm of torque and is mated to a CVT gearbox.

Other than the above two, Pak Suzuki will also showcase XBee which will be put on display on the third day of the show. XBEE (cross-bee) is a compact crossover wagon which is available in limited numbers here in shape of used imports. It gets a 1.0L direct-injection turbo engine and mild hybrid system paired with 6-speed automatic transmission. Lastly the WagonR hybrid will also be showcased at the show.

It is yet unknown at this stage whether these new vehicles have been put on display just for attention purpose or Pak Suzuki really wants to introduce these in our market. Considering the troubling economic times with restrictions on CKD as well as CBU imports. Introducing a new model in this scenario seems highly unlikely.
