The caretaker government has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene oil for the month of July 2018, as recommended by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The revised prices will be petrol Rs 99.50, diesel Rs 119.31, kerosene oil Rs 87.70 and light diesel oil Rs 80.91, according to a notification issued by the Finance Division.
As per the notification, the increase in petroleum prices is due to the increase of petroleum prices in international markets and depreciation of Pak rupee against US Dollar. Earlier, the caretaker leadership on 11th June, had already jacked up the prices by Rs 4.26 for petrol, Rs 6.55 for diesel, and Rs 4.46 per liter for kerosene oil.
