Regal Automobiles have finally launched the much awaited Prince Pearl hatchback in Pakistan. The launch ceremony was held today at Faletti’s Hotel in Lahore and was graced by the Governor of Punjab Mr Mohammad Sarwar as chief guest.
The Prince Pearl has been priced at PKR 10.49 lac whereas the vehicle can be booked against a sum of Rs 350,000. The company will begin accepting bookings from the 1st of February whereas tentative delivery time is 90 days.
It was earlier being reported that the Prince Pearl will be available in automatic transmission also, however at this point of time only manual version has been launched. Features include 9″ infotainment system with MP3, AUX & Bluetooth with 2 speakers, electric power steering (EPS), power side mirrors, jack-knife remote key, powered rear door hatch, central locking, dry battery, reversing camera, alloy wheels, front disc brakes, LED DRLs, 2 interior trims (grey/ wooden) and 8 exterior colors: Noble White, Medium Silver, Dark Brown, Rio Tomato, Harvard Blue, Aqua Green and Beige Metallic.
Under the hood, there is a familiar 796cc replica Mehran engine that produces 40hp and comes mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. As for suspension it has Macpherson struts up front, and trailing arm suspension with coil springs & dampers at the rear.
