Renault India marks the beginning of 2022 on a high note by achieving a significant milestone of exporting over 100,000 units. This demonstrates the competence of India’s design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Renault’s Made in India products including Kwid, Triber and Kiger are currently exported to 14 countries across the world including markets such as SAARC, Asia Pacific, Indian Oceanic Region, South Africa and East Africa region. These products have been designed with the strong collaboration of French and Indian teams and are a true embodiment of the ‘Make in India’ initiative. They were developed and produced in India, for the Indian customers first, before being taken to the international markets.

In India the Renault Kwid hatchback that comes with an 800cc and 1000cc engine options is priced from INR 4.24 lac, then the Triber which is a three-row 5-2 seat MPV with a 1000cc engine is priced from INR 5.67 lac while the Kiger subcompact crossover having a 1000cc engine is priced from INR 5.79 lac. The company also sells the Duster compact crossover SUV which is priced from INR 9.85 lac and has either a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine under its hood.
