Subaru showcased some spruced-up models at the ongoing 2024 Singapore Motor Show. Four models unveiled during the event include the Subaru BRZ STI the Crosstrek, WRX Sedan, and WRX Wagon GT Edition.
The Crosstrek GT Edition boasts a distinctive GT styling kit, encapsulating a multi-piece body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a roof spoiler. Inside, the cabin has also been treated to a dual-tone shade for its leather upholstery, with GT Edition seats with sporty red accents enlivened by contrast white stitching. Under the hood is a 2.0L engine paired with an electric motor which is good for a combined power output of 148 hp and sends power to all wheels via a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system and only comes with the Lineartronic CVT gearbox.

Moving on, both the WRX Sedan and WRX Wagon GT Edition were showcased as prototypes. Both feature an aggressive look that revolves around an STI-branded grille and a body kit, paired with lightweight Volk Racing wheels. Without giving details, Subaru also says ‘Performance-tuned chassis refinements’ have been made. Under the hood, both these cars are powered by a 2.4L boxer turbo engine, good for 275 hp and 350 Nm, paired with a Lineartronic CVT.

Lastly, featuring a distinctive custom body package, the BRZ STI Edition is a race-inspired upgrade that Subaru has infused into the agile second-generation BRZ. The kit comes with a front under spoiler and fender garnish, while along the sides there are strakes by the skirts to direct wind towards the rear wing. The rear diffuser smoothens air below the vehicle, which also helps overall aerodynamics.

Inside the dashboard, leather accents, such as the red-striped multifunction steering wheel and matching door cards exclusive to this model, contribute to a sportier, race-inspired aesthetic. Powering the BRZ is a 2.4L naturally-aspirated boxer engine making 237 hp and 250 Nm, with transmission choices available in the form of either a 6-speed auto or a 6-speed manual.
