Pak Suzuki has reportedly increased the price of APV multi-purpose vehicle by Rs 1,115,000. After this increase the Suzuki APV which was priced for PKR 34.6 lac is now available for PKR 45.75 lac.
Suzuki APV which was introduced in Pakistan back in 2005 is still offered in Pak Suzuki’s lineup as CBU import. And while the likes of imported Kizashi, Mega Carry as well as Ciaz were pulled off due to low demand, the APV despite fruitless sales is still being offered by the company.
Interestingly there is no additional import duty imposed by the government whereas Pak Rupee has recovered against the US Dollar in recent months and has in fact remained stable around Rs 160 against a Dollar for quite some period now but the trend in increasing car prices by auto companies in Pakistan goes on.

The latest & a massive increase in price has put Suzuki’s old people carrier in the league of modern day crossover SUVs. In fact the APV has now become expensive than DFSK Glory 580 & 580 Pro, MG ZA and even the Kia Sportage Alpha. Whether Pak Suzuki will be able to achieve the desired results with this increase in APV’s price is yet to become evident.
