Maruti has officially launched the factory-fitted CNG variant of the new Suzuki Celerio in India priced at INR 6.58 lakh (PKR 15.59 lac). Based on the VXi variant, the Celerio CNG which has a 60L tank is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 35.6 km per kg.

The Celerio CNG is powered by a 1.0L three-cylinder K10C petrol engine that produces 66 hp of power and 89 Nm of torque. However in CNG mode, it produces 56 hp and 82Nm. For CNG variant, the engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission only.
Key features include body-colored bumpers, side mirrors and door handles, chrome accent on front grille, full wheel covers, front and rear head-rests, manual AC, day-night inside rear view mirror, 60:40 split rear seat, central locking, power steering, front and rear power windows, power side mirrors, and a gear shift indicator.

Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat-belt reminder system, speed alert system, speed-sensing auto door lock, and impact-sensing auto door unlock function. The latest Suzuki Celerio, which was launched in November 2021 has already received almost 25,000 bookings in Indian market.
