Honda has showcased 12 models at the ongoing 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show, the highlight among which remains the all-new Accord which has just been introduced in the Thailand market last week.

At the event, Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Chief Operating Officer of Honda Automobile (Thailand) said:
“Accord is one of the major Honda’s models that pioneer the automotive industry with the new technologies that always bring the industry to another level. We believe that the premium sport sedan will surely bring a lot of excitement to the Honda booth and also to the Motor Show.”
For the Thai market, the 2019 Honda Accord is available in both turbo and hybrid variants. The 1.5L Di VTEC Turbo variant produces maximum power of 190 hp and comes with the spontaneous CVT that offers better performance than the 2.4L engine in the previous generation Accord. The fuel consumption is an impressive 16.4 km/liter, which better than the previous 2.0L version.
Then there is a full hybrid option, with intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) system, powered by 2.0L Atkinson Cycle, DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinders 16-valves engine with two electric motors, E-CVT and Lithium-Ion battery pack, producing the maximum power output of 215 hp. The multi-mode drive system can smoothly and intelligently switch between different driving modes to respond to all driving conditions, making it more responsive and enabling it to achieve impressive fuel efficiency at 24.4 km/liter.

The 10th Generation Honda Accord comes equipped with Honda SENSING that comprises of Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW) and Auto High-Beam (AHB). The premium safety technologies also include Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM), Multi-View Camera System (MVCS) and Honda Smart Parking Assist System.
